Default The tanner gun show questions

can any one tell me what my chances of getting a good deal on a XD 9mm 3.8 at this show today and tomorrow? also do they allow open carry? I might be getting a CCW and i just want to get the feel for carrying a gun, figured it would be helpfull to try it first in a gun freindly place.

Deals are pretty thin on the ground at gun shows these days, but you never know. Tanner will allow you to bring in your own weapon, but no loose ammo or loaded magazines are allowed, and they will want to inspect and zip tie the action at the door.

Ive brought in weapons before with the intent of find accesories or buyers for them. They will clear the weapon and ziptie it. Kind of silly, though....most guns, if you drop the slide on them, will break the zip tie...

Carrying a loaded weapon is not allowed, but there are no metal detectors or wands being used there...

There were a TON of people there today... and I saw so many 3.8XD's for sale (new) Some of the prices were decent.

Default Tanner today

Went to the Tanner today there at 10:00. There was a steady flow in and out and the prices were not dropping. Reasonable crowd but not packed. The ammo supply in the rear corner was out of most popular calibers but had some left.

I think the prices were higher this show than in December.
