Don't feel bad, I brought my son up today, got there just about 9:30. All the lanes were full and I in my sedan could not go further back. Asked around and everyone said they had just got there and would be shooting for some time so we had to pack it up and head home.

Just about 90 miles round trip and not a single shot fired. All this to get to a location that is 8-10 miles away as the crow flies...

Sure will be nice when I have range access, counting the days....

The spot I was shooting at was ok. There were quite a few people there when I arrived at 10 but it cleared out shortly there after. It is kind of funny that I will go and shoot there when the range I belong to is just up the road.(buffalo creek).

Yeah is anyone going? My only chance of going is showing up at Marlin's place and catching a ride with him. Seeing as how I haven't asked him yet, or contacted him, and he gets up about 16 hours earlier than I usually do, we'll see how that works out.

Unless it is raining/snowing I am going. Be there about 9.30-10.00 AM I have no idea where the "Official" range is. There has to be 20 spots that you can shoot at up there. As for the GPS #'s I have seen they do not mean anything to me.

Every time I've been, I just pull in, take a left/center and each fork, and then just roll down my windows and listen for gun shots. heh.
